
Hwy. 52 Crash in Rochester Sends Teenager to Hospital
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenager was injured in a crash that slowed traffic on Hwy. 52 in Rochester on Thursday.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision and the drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles.
The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 6 p.m.

Minnesota Teen Boy Injured in Crash on Hwy. 52 in Rochester, MN
The crash occurred at the Hwy. 52/19th St. and Elton Hills Dr. Northwest interchange.
A Jeep traveling north on Hwy. 52 and an SUV also heading north on the highway collided, the state crash report says.
19-year-old Lebron Benson Giwa of Rochester was identified as the SUV driver. He escaped the crash without injuries, according to the State Patrol.
Authorities say a 16-year-old boy from Windom, MN was driving the Jeep. He was brought from the crash scene to a Mayo Clinic hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the state crash report. Hwy. 52 was dry at the time of the collision.
The Rochester Police Department, Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the two-vehicle crash.
