Pine Island, MN (KROC-AM News) - At least one person was killed in a traffic crash Friday afternoon along Highway 52 north of Rochester.
The State Patrol says a small SUV was traveling north on Highway 52 when it rolled near the interchange with Goodhue County Road 11 at Pine Island. The crash was reported around 4:30 PM.

There were two occupants in the vehicle. The driver was an 85-year-old Red Wing man and his passenger was a 78-year-old Red Wing woman.

The names of the victim or victims have not been released. The tragic incident remains under investigation.
