Update: State Patrol ID's Victim of Fatal Rochester-Area Crash
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol responded to a fatal crash near the Rochester Airport this morning.
The deadly incident was reported around 8:45 AM at the intersection of Highway 30 and Olmsted County Road 8. The State Patrol says a truck traveling north on County Road 8 collided with a small car that was headed east on Highway 30.

The 83-year-old Mankato woman driving the car was killed in the collision. Her name has not been released.
The driver of the truck was identified as 60-year-old Jeffry Allen Burnikel of Lime Springs Iowa. He was transported to St. Mary's Hospital with what the State Patrol described as non-life-threatening injuries.
