Deadly Rear End Crash on I-94 in Central Minnesota

Albany, MN (KROC-AM News) - At least one person was killed Saturday afternoon when a compact car crashed into the back of a truck on I-94 in central Minnesota.

The State Patrol says troopers responded to the crash shortly after 2:30 PM. It occurred in Stearns County on the western edge of the town of Albany, about 10 miles west of St. Cloud.

The preliminary crash report indicates a 21-year-old Minneapolis man was traveling east on I-94 in a straight truck when a Toyota Prius driven by a 42-year-old Minneapolis woman rear-ended the truck. She had a 15-year-old female passenger.
