Deadly Crash in Minneapolis Kills Two Women, Injures Three
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two people were killed and three others were injured in a traffic crash this morning in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara says the deadly two-vehicle collision was reported around 10:20 AM. His statement says a vehicle veered off the road and into a bus shelter following a collision with another vehicle.
Two women were in the vehicle. Chief O'Hara says one woman died at the scene and the other was extricated from the wreckage and later died at North Memorial Health care Hospital. The occupants of the other vehicle, a man and woman, were taken to a hospital with what were described as potentially life-threatening injuries.
Minneapolis police also reported that the vehicle that veered into the bus shelter struck a 17-year-old boy. He was taken to the Hennepin Healthcare Hospital with apparent non-life-threatening injuries.
