The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court last week, says the Cannon River Drug and Violent Offender Task Force was leading the investigation, which had involved surveillance.

The lead agent, along with members of the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and Rochester Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 600 block of Northern Hills Dr. NE on Thursday.

The complaint says investigators executed the warrant after seeing Fox going in and out of his home multiple times. He then got into his vehicle and drove to a gas station where law enforcement arrested him.

Fox had a total of $1,360 in cash in his pockets, the complaint says. He also had keys for the residence named in the search warrant.

Inside of the home, authorities found 32.15 grams of cocaine, a pistol with a loaded 15-round magazine and a box of 9mm ammunition, the charges say.

Court records indicate Fox was convicted of first-degree drug sales in Steele County in 2020 and was granted a stayed 10-year prison sentence that was amended to five years in 2023.
