Teen Boy Identified as Fatal Minneapolis Shooting Victim, So Far No Arrests
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenage boy lost his life in a Minneapolis shooting Monday night.

A news release issued by the Minneapolis Police Department says officers responded to reports of gunfire shortly before 7:15 p.m.
Officers responding to the shooting found a wounded juvenile boy suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside of a residence in the area, police say.
17-Year-Old Boy Pronounced Dead at the Scene of Fatal Minneapolis, MN Shooting
The fatal shooting occurred in the 1100 Block of 25 St. East. Police say the victim was standing outside of the home with other people when the gunshots were fired.
He was hit by the gunfire multiple times before running inside of the home and collapsing, the news release says.
Officers rendered life-saving care but the teenage gunshot victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 17 years old and his name has not yet been released.
An investigation into the fatal shooting began Monday night. As of Tuesday morning no arrest or arrests have been made.
In a statement, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara called the deadly shooting "senseless."
“This senseless act of gun violence has destroyed another young life and left another family with a life of grief. We are asking anyone in the community with information to help our investigators by providing any information they have about this incident. We all must work together to end this level of violence in our neighborhoods,” O'Hara said.
