Serum's Good Time Emporium is located in downtown Anoka, inside one of the oldest buildings (built in 1885) in the city. While the building itself is 140 years old, the food inside is hot and fresh, including the 23 different sauces you can get on the 'best wings west of Buffalo.'

While I've had my share of wings from Serum's in the past, just because I've found them good doesn't mean everyone would or will. I ended up looking at some online reviews of Serum's specifically the wings, and here's what people have to say.

Alex J on Yelp wrote in August of 2025 that "They're known for their wings and mini corn dogs. We get a large wing order of five flavors to share between five people along with corn dogs and tots. We loved the massive platter that the wings come out so nicely displayed on, and friends were impressed by the size of the wings. 23 different sauces can come with your order of wings (orders start at 12 wings and can go all the way up to 50) at Serum's. So you've got some choices if you want to experience some different levels of heat.

I'm not a big spicy food guy, but I don't mind some heat to go with my wings. I've usually gone with the Hot sauce, but now and then, when I am in downtown Anoka, I'll switch it up and go with the Goldrush sauce.
