I've heard of all types of vending machines before. You've got traditional vending machines that dispense beverages or snacks, then at MSP there is the farmer vending machine that dolls out 'fresh' salads, and of course, there is the meat vending machine that is coming to Clear Lake. But I've never heard about an ammo vending machine before. Well, they are real, and right now they are being installed in retail stores in parts of the US.

American Rounds is installing ammunition vending machines at different retailers in parts of the South, including a grocery store. The machines, which users must be 21+ to use, are also legal. A Sheriff from Alabama was asked about them being installed and whether they were legal, and he told Newsweek that "the machines are legal and approved by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)"

So far the machines have only been installed in Alabama, Oklahoma, and Texas but the founder of American Rounds told Newsweek there are around 200 orders for the machines. Grant Magers said "We have over 200 store requests for AARM [Automated Ammo Retail Machine] units covering approximately nine states currently and that number is growing daily"

Could Minnesota businesses see this machine? It's possible at this point and might make sense at some locations in greater Minnesota.

According to the American Rounds website: "Our automated ammo dispensers are accessible 24/7, ensuring that you can buy ammunition on your schedule, free from the constraints of store hours and long lines."
