Minnesota City Tops 2023 List Of ‘Rat Infested Cities’

There is one Minnesota city that has made the 2023 Top-5 World's Most Rat-Infested Cities. Not the list you want to be on.

A rat is described as "a rodent that resembles a large mouse, typically having a pointed snout and a long, sparsely-haired tail.

Some kinds have become cosmopolitan and are sometimes responsible for transmitting diseases."

Rats may or may not have been responsible for spreading the Black Plague around Europe in the 14th century killing millions of people. 

But Rats do pose a significant health risk as they carry disease-causing pathogens which can be transferred to humans through bites or food contamination.

Private Exterminator published a list of the 25 Ratties Cities in the world.

And the Top-5 Most Rat-Infested Cities were all in the United States...

1. Chicago: 647 Rats For Every 100 People
2. New York City: 400 Rats For Every 100 People
3. Washington DC: 392 Rats For Every 100 People
4. Boston: 328 Rats For Every 100 People
5. Minneapolis: 322 Rats For Every 100 People
