Get ready for "Yield", coming to Wisconsin this summer
Being called "Yield", this one-of-a-kind experience is being installed as part of Summerfest this summer in Wisconsin.
Organizers describe the attraction as a "cosmic cornfield" maze of multi-colored lights, sounds, and sculptures. The attraction will feature tens of thousands of individually-controllable LED lights along with a variety of sculptures and moving lights that will create a truly "out of this world" visual experience.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Yield will include 192 stalks of corn, 2,112 leaves, and 75,000 LEDs.
The creators, a Milwaukee-based company called FuzzPop Workshop, summarize the experience as something that "draws on childhood memories of getting lost in fields of corn and turns that familiar memory into an otherworldly experience".
FuzzyPop Workshop specializes in making immersive experiences like Yield. Here's a look at a different creation from the company to get a taste of the types of things they create.
When and where can you experience "Yield"? How much will it cost?
The attraction is being created in Milwaukee as part of Summerfest 2024. The attraction will be located near the Summerfest south gate, which is in Henry Maier Festival Park.
If you have a ticket to Summerfest, getting into Yield is included in your ticket. If you want tickets, they are available via the Summerfest website.
Yield will be open throughout Summerfest, which spans three weekends this summer. Those dates include June 20-22, June 27-29, and July 4-6.
