Top Minnesota Attraction Offering Healthcare Workers Free Entry
One of Minnesota's most unique and popular attractions is offering healthcare workers free admission in January.
The Mall of America houses many attractions and one of its most popular is giving the opportunity for those who do so much for other people a chance for a free day of fun.
Sea Life, Minnesota's largest aquarium featuring 1.3 million gallons of underwater exhibit space and the state's only underwater tunnel, is giving free admission to healthcare workers Monday - Friday through the month of January, except MLK Day.
Friends and family who join the healthcare worker will also get $5 off the price of admission, the offer is only available in person and healthcare workers must present proof of employment at the Sea Life guest service desk to take advantage of the free admission.
Sea Life is a fun time, I love going through the tunnel and getting a unique view of the sea creatures swimming around, they have sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, and much more swimming around in the large tank. They also have some hands-on exhibits and a visually stimulating jellyfish display that is mesmerizing.
Admission to Sea Life is about $24 for an adult and $21 for kids aged 2-12 and kids 2 and under are free. You won't be able to book this deal online, so you'll have to take the chance that they aren't too busy when you arrive.
According to the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, Minnesota has an astounding 387,500 people working in health care in the state, with 115,000 of those working in hospitals throughout the state.
