Mall of America Hosting 90s Dance Party with Spice Girls Tribute Band
Remember when mixtapes were your life soundtrack and butterfly clips reigned supreme? Get ready to relive the best of the '90s with a dance party and drag show that'll transport you back in time.
The Mall of America is hosting a 90s Dance Party and Drag Show on Saturday, March 2nd from 7 PM - 8:30 PM in the Huntington Bank Rotunda, the event will feature Toronto-based Spice Girls cover band "Wannabe" and performances by regional drag acts including, Domita Sanchez, Luna Muse, Julia Starr, and Dick Von Dyke.
This all-ages event will be hosted by Minneapolis drag legend, Sasha Cassadine, and will also feature a performance by Twin Cities-based DJ, Izzie P. Unlike many of the events hosted at the Mall of America rotunda, this is not a free event, this event will require a ticket.
Tickets are on sale now and are either $60 for the VIP ticket or $30 for a general admission ticket. The VIP ticket includes a seat for the show (first come, first served), a swag bag valued at $75, meet & greet after the show, and a drink ticket. The general admission ticket includes access to standing room only, and a drink ticket.
Wannabe is a cover band made up of 5 best friends that not only have perfected the Spice Girls look, sound, and moves, but they also play hits by other iconic 90s female pop stars like Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, and Madonna.
