A Sold Out Minneapolis Show Is Bringing Something Unexpected To MOA
Concerts have become more than just the show, the biggest tours have turned into full blown experiences that feel closer to mini festivals than a single night out. With side events, special photo ops, and temporary shops packed with must grab merch, artists have figured out that the hype machine doesn’t shut off when the lights go down.
Taylor Swift, Metallica, and Oasis are just a few major touring acts that have leaned into the trend. Instead of only selling shirts inside the venue, artists are rolling out custom trailers days before the show or taking over nearby storefronts to build full retail experiences. Fans show up whether they have a ticket or not, proving that the merch game has basically become its own attraction.
