Insomnia Cookies Announces Grand Opening Celebration In Duluth
If you love cookies, you're about to get a new destination to get a sweet treat in the Twin Ports area.
As was announced earlier this year, Insomnia Cookies is one of two new businesses that will be opening in the Shops at Bluestone this year. With the departure of Chilly Billy's to their new location down the street and the closure of the SportClips at Bluestone, the cookie shop was able to find a home in one of these spaces.
What's unique about Insomnia Cookies?
With local bakeries and the addition a few years ago of Crumbl Cookies to the Duluth area, you might be wondering what's different about this place.
The first thing is that they live up to their name, maintaining late-night hours all week long. How late? As late as 3 am on some of the nights they're open.
Their menu goes beyond just cookies, also offering brownies, ice cream, cookie cakes, and their cookie-ice cream concoctions they refer to as 'wiches'.
They also offer cookie boxes, sweet treat catering, and delivery from many of their locations as part of their business offerings.
When is the Insomnia Cookies grand opening in Duluth?
While they've quietly been open for a few days, they will be holding their grand opening celebration in the form of an all-day affair this Thursday, April 25 starting at 11 am.
The team at Insomnia Cookies in Duluth also told WDIO that they will be giving back to the community as part of their grand opening, donating a portion of retail sales from the grand opening event to Head of the Lakes United Way.
