Let's talk about some hard hitting stuff: margaritas. OK, I'm obviously joking as this is just a fun tip (although the tequila can hit hard.) We went out last night to Guadalajara's in Superior, Wisconsin. They have the best margaritas in the area in my opinion.

In case you didn't know, on Wednesdays, they have their 27-ounce margarita on special for just $6.99. That's a good deal. It's considered their medium size, and really, it's the only size you should ever buy. Let me explain.

The small margarita is never enough, trust me. From the first sip you'll find yourself having to tell yourself to slow down and enjoy it. Also, you're munching on the salty tortilla chips that make you thirsty.

You may think it's a good idea to go right to the jumbo marg which is a whopping 46 ounces. Without specials, the large costs $20.62. But here's the truth: when you buy the jumbo margarita, you're just paying for more ice.

I really don't think it's a great value to get the jumbo because you're not getting another 19 ounces of margarita. You're getting 19 more ounces of margarita and ice.

When we were walking out I saw a table of women drinking their jumbo margaritas and I almost stopped them to A) let them know the mediums were on special, and B) explain this whole "you're only buying more ice" ted talk.

Medium margaritas are the way to go. It's the best value, and the nice thing is if you finish it, you don't have to feel guilty getting a second one, because it was just a medium!

LOOK: Here are the pets banned in each state

Because the regulation of exotic animals is left to states, some organizations, including The Humane Society of the United States, advocate for federal, standardized legislation that would ban owning large cats, bears, primates, and large poisonous snakes as pets.
