Target Initiates New Rule At All Minnesota And Wisconsin Locations
If you're like me, you spend a lot of time at Target. I always say that you don't go into Target with a list of things you need. Instead, you go to Target and find out what you need when you get there. Ha!
The superstore has rolled out quite a few new changes over the past few months. In March, they initiated a new change at self checkout lanes, putting a ten item cap on those checking out themselves.
Shortly after, they initiated yet another change that was more than welcome, slashing prices on thousands of products to offset inflation.
Now, yet another change is going into effect in Target stores across Minnesota and Wisconsin. This may impact you in a big way.
And The Big Change Is....
No more checks! It's no secret that checks aren't all that common anymore, especially in big box stores like Target and Walmart. Most of us pay digitally or with a debit card.

A spokesperson for Target says this is why they are axing checks as payment this month, with the new rule officially beginning on Monday, July 15th.
If you do use checks to pay when visiting Target, there are still many other ways you can pay. Target will still accept cash, credit cards, debit cards and more, including:
Pay later services
SNAP/EBT
Target Circle Cards
Digital Wallets (like Apple Pay)
