At about 8:30 this morning, I decided I needed some caffeine and a little snack. Up until today, I have had very limited options downtown because there hasn't been anywhere to get that kind of stuff since Snyder's closed in the Holiday Center. I thought about going up to the parking ramp, hopping in my vehicle, and driving to a gas station nearby. Then it dawned on me. Today is the opening day of SuperiorMart downtown, and it's only a block away!

Earlier this week, I shared the opening date and some photos from Downtown Duluth. There were a lot of positive comments online about it, but of course, a few trolls were complaining that they wanted something different or more groceries. People were already complaining about something before it even opened, without having any knowledge. Classic internet, right?

So anyway, I made the short walk to the location at 116W Superior Street in Downtown Duluth. The place was clean, well-lit, and fully stocked, and the owners were there, welcoming customers into the store. (They even offered me free coffee!)

Every staff member said hello with a smile on their face. I looked around the market and I was impressed with the variety of stuff they were carrying in a small market.

They have grab-and-go sandwiches, snacks, some produce, lunch meats, yogurt, brats, hot dogs, condiments, soups, ramen, noodles, canned goods, and much more. I was impressed with how well stocked they were.

Are you in a pinch and need a bag of charcoal? They had that too! They also had dog food and cat food. They've got cleaning products, trash bags, paper plates, cups, toilet paper, dryer sheets, laundry soap, and the list goes on.
