The price to go out to eat has increased dramatically in the last few years. This has caused some people to think twice about where they go out to eat.

A Redditor on Duluth's Reddit page recently shared how they had big sticker shock at restaurants. There are a lot of things that have been added in recent years, like kitchen service fees, wait staff fees, etc. People are also getting frustrated for being prompt to tip when all someone does is turn the payment pad around.

The Redditor asked, what's a great deal and great value for a restaurant in the Northland?

A lot of the familiars came up like The Anchor Bar (which just about everyone knows.) Uncle Louie's Cafe made the list as well. But, many people were enlightened to a new spot to try.

Redditor SteakSwanson had a recommendation that got a ton of upvotes.

Julie's Family Restaurant has been around since the early 90's in Superior. They've got great food. My favorite is the Shipwreck Skillet!

A while back I did an article on the best places to get lunch for under $15. Many of the regular places make the list, but one of them is often overlooked. If you want a good burger that's a good price, you should also check out Who's Bar on Tower Avenue in Superior.

A lot of people say their burgers are fantastic, but yet they don't get the attention they deserve. Check them out for an affordable lunch.
