I don't know how I missed this. I just happened to stumble on it today and it featured some of my favorite cast members of all time. It features a Duluth TV morning show that has a house band that's a little too much.

The SNL skit starts with the introduction of a TV morning show on Channel 23 called "Duluth LIve." They even include shots of the Lift Bridge, the hillside, and the harbor.

The skit appeared on Season 31 in 2006. I don't ever remember seeing it. I would have, because it's pretty intense.

TV hosts starring Jason Sudeikis and Amy Poehler are trying to start their show when the band intros with the new song "Fly High Duluth." Will Forte is the lead singer Will Hamrlik, and Scarlett Johansson plays the part of his wife Char. Or as he refers to her at one point as his she tiger Char.

Other members of the band include Andy Samberg who shreds on a flying V guitar. Kristen Wiig and Rachel Dratch are supporting singers. Fred Armisen is on the drums. Horatio Sans play base (with a pipe in his mouth). Bill Hader is on keyboards, and Finesse Mitchell is on the drums.

I'm sure a lot of people saw this back in the day, but I missed it. 18 years later maybe some new people will take a look. Especially with how far these comedians careers have come over the years. And of course, Scarlett Johansson is one of the biggest stars in the world now.
