Old Farmer’s Almanac Predicts Warm March For Minnesota

January felt like the longest month ever in my personal opinion. I think part of that is because it was so incredibly cold!

Yes, we are used to the cold living in Minnesota but the month was exceptionally cold and colder than usual, which is really saying something. Now, warmer temperatures are on the way thankfully.

March is always a toss-up in our neck of the woods so I got a little worried looking at the Old Farmer's Almanac for the month. I do this just for fun and people are definitely passionate about it.

Some people don't believe in their methodology and others do. I am not sure if I do but I do like looking at their predictions at the start of the month. Their outlook for March is one I definitely want to believe!

What's it going to be? March is always all over the place in our region, and that can also mean some intense winter weather. We have long winters around here, after all. According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, we don't need to be worried!

It looks like we will see a little bit of snow but then possibly an early spring? I will believe it when I see it but their outlook includes rain showers and a warmer-than-average temperature for the month. Let's take a closer look.

A Very Warm March On The Way For Minnesota + Wisconsin

The first week of the month will bring some light snow. It just wouldn't be a March in Minnesota without a little snow, right? The sun will be a common theme starting the second week of the month, paired with mild conditions.

Mid-month, temperatures will warm up so much, that we can possibly expect some rain showers. Rain will continue through the end of the month, along with warm temperatures. We could even be about six degrees above average throughout the month. I will take it!

Rainy but warm? I don't think I could complain about that. I guess we will have to wait and see. Plus, we have to get through February, which is always rough around here!
