New Hallmark Movie Set In Minnesota
Tis officially the season for cheesy holiday movies! While they are entertaining year round, they really are a staple for this time of the year.
Duluth pretty much feels like a holiday movie when the first snow falls. That's one benefit of the snow!
We've even been the backdrop for a handful of amazing Christmas movies, like Merry Kiss Cam, which was filmed here a few years ago and became a pretty big hit on Hulu!

There is also Rescuing Christmas, another holiday romance movie from Hallmark that was released earlier this year.
Now we have another - kind of!
A new Hallmark movie is dropping Friday (November 22nd) and while this one does have a touch of romance, it is actually a mystery at its core! It's also set in Minnesota and called Five Gold Rings.

It wasn't filmed here, sadly. Instead, according to IMDb, it was filmed in Manitoba and Winnipeg! They are really selling the Minnesota thing, even name dropping us in the trailer sneak peek.
So what's the movie about? Aside from the obvious love story that will almost surely ensue between the two leads, the film is about a New York City artist who returns to 'her small Minnesota hometown' for the holidays.
From there, she is tasked with finding the owners of 'five mysterious gold rings' and return them to their owners before Christmas morning. Her childhood friend just so happens to be a private investigator because, of course.
THIS LOOKS AMAZING in a Hallmark movie sort of way! Keep scrolling to see some scenes from the movie before it drops just in time for the weekend.
