Authorities Ask For Help In Iron Range ATM Theft
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office is asking for help identifying a vehicle and a suspect caught on security camera. They allegedly stole cash from an ATM somewhere on the Iron Range. The theft occurred overnight, and the Sheriff's Department was notified on February 2nd. Time stamps on the camera indicated it happened around 3 AM.
The press release doesn't give much information, but they do believe it was a 4-door sedan with maybe 2 people in it? Both individuals were wearing dark colored hoodies, with one of them having "a large white logo" on the back.
The blurry security photos don't give much to go on. Some commented that it looks like they were covered with snow, and others questioned why they even have security cameras that are that blurry. Also, don't ATMs have security cameras on the front of them?

At first glance, it looked like a pickup truck to me. In the second photo, it appears to be a sedan.
In the photo of the suspect running away from the ATM, you can see an AT&T store. However, the press release doesn't mention the town, location, or any other details about the theft that occurred in the largest county in Minnesota.
If anyone has any tips on this crime, please contact the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office at 218-726-2340.
