Actor + Paid Extras Wanted For Intense Feature Film In Minnesota
A feature film is being produced in Minnesota and surrounding communities with an intense, crime-solving plot. While most of the roles have been filled, producers reached out this week saying one key role still needed to be cast and background extras would soon be needed on set.
According to Backstage, the thriller "Fatal Photos" is being directed by Logan Giese and will be released by Title One Films.
The Plot And Cast Of "Fatal Photos"
The following is the official logline for the film: "When a woman realizes she has taken a photo of an attempted murder, she must use the clues in the image to solve the crime - before she becomes the next victim."
When the project was first announced, the following roles were being cast, with each actor being paid up to $216 per day:
- April Sullivan - Lead. Female. 27-32
- Susie Sullivan - Supporting. Female. 18-25
- Jackie Johnson - Supporting. Female. 35-45
- Detective Decker - Supporting. Female. 30-40
- Adam Durant - Supporting. Male. 30-40
- John Johnson - Lead. 40-60
- Dr. Charles Sampson - Supporting. 40-50
Based on a recent casting call placed throughout social media, it appears all roles have been cast except for perhaps Dr. Charles Sampson, and background extras will also soon be needed.
The casting call says the role of "Hospital Doctor" still needs to be cast. If that is the role of Dr. Charles Sampson, it sounds like a juicy one. His character description states: "Charles is the best and worst kind of therapist, specializing in radical therapeutic technique, Auto Suggestion. Although he makes his patients feel like they actually matter, he is a cold and cunning sociopath."

While most of the movie is being produced in Duluth, Minnesota, the recent casting call was for filming that would take place from Thursday, April 25 to Sunday, April 28, at Northwoods Technical College, located at 600 N 21st Street in Superior, Wisconsin.
