
Burn Injuries Reported After Anoka Fair Firework Attack
Anoka, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in the Twin Cities are requesting public assistance in identifying the person responsible for a fireworks attack on a crowd at the Anoka County Fairgrounds.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says the incident occurred around 11:30 PM on July 26. A news release states that an individual threw a large firework toward a crowd of people, and it ignited. Multiple people suffered burn injuries and were treated by paramedics at the scene.
The statement says investigators are particularly interested in speaking with a large group of suspected juveniles who were near the site where the incident occurred.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
