Cambridge, MN (KROC-AM News) - One person was killed this morning in a head-on crash north of the Twin Cities.

The State Patrol says the deadly incident was reported around 4:50 AM on Highway 95 in Isanti County. The crash site was just east of Cambridge.

The preliminary crash report indicates the victim was a passenger in a westbound car that collided with an eastbound pickup when the larger vehicle crossed over the center line. Sixty-year-old Randy Alan St. Clair of North Branch was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, 48-year-old Amie Kostuch of North Branch, was not injured. The State Patrol identified the driver of the pickup as 76-year-old John William Menter. He was also uninjured.

The crash report indicates the deceased passenger was the only person not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision and that alcohol was not a contributing factor.
