Watch: SE Minnesota Police Officer Caught Sharing Sweet Moment With Neighborhood Kids
Sometimes it's the little moments that leave the biggest impression.
A Faribault police officer recently stopped for an impromptu game of basketball with a group of neighborhood kids, turning an ordinary day into one they'll probably remember for a long time.

Roxie Finnesgard shared the video on Wednesday, and shortly after it posted, the Faribault Police Department commented, "Appreciated the opportunity to play some ball with the youngsters!"
The reactions from parents were just as heartwarming.
"Truly appreciate the kindness that was shown to my son and his friends. It was a great moment," one parent wrote. Another shared that her son "was so excited to tell me all about it when he got home."
Someone even mentioned seeing the same officer, along with several others, stop to buy cookies, bars, and lemonade from kids running a curbside stand the week before.
In a world where so much of what we see online highlights conflict and division, it's refreshing to be reminded that there are plenty of positive interactions happening every single day. Moments like this help build trust, create connections, and show kids that the people behind the badge are part of the same community they call home.

FPD says the officer in the video is Matthew Kolling. "Our officers are always looking for an opportunity to engage with our community and make a positive impact," they said in a message.
