Despite no longer being on The Voice, Cori Kennedy, from Kasson-Mantorville, Minnesota, is still doing big things. As she said in a video, this is only the beginning, and it's so true!

We got the chat with Cori before Thanksgiving. One of the things we talked about was her future plans. She's already living in Nashville so she can pursue her dreams. She's working on putting together a team to put some of her own work out there eventually.

But, in the meantime, she's doing something here in her home state that we are very excited about.

Cori Kennedy Singing the National Anthem at the Minnesota Vikings Game

Cori made the big announcement on her socials earlier today: She'll be performing the National Anthem at the Minnesota Vikings game at US Bank Stadium on Sunday!

That's so cool; we're so proud of her and excited for her!

The game is on Sunday, December 7th, against the Washington Commanders. Kickoff is at noon, which means Cori will perform before noon. I'd say if you want to make sure you catch Cori's performance, make sure you're parked in front of a TV by 11:45 just to be safe.

**I have now learned that they usually don't air the National Anthem on TV... sad! If that's true, keep an eye on the Vikings socials and Cori's socials, I'm sure it'll be shared after the fact!

She's going to absolutely kill this. I can't imagine how nerve-racking it must be, not only to perform in front of tens of thousands of people (plus the tens of thousands who will be watching on TV), but also to be singing the National Anthem. It's a song everyone knows, which makes it even more intimidating.

Good luck to Cori! And if you want to catch her and the game at a bar in Rochester, there are quite a few places that give out prizes during Vikings games.
