Before you start wondering, "What could this mysterious new pizza possibly be?" I will tell you it’s inspired by a Midwest classic that’s a staple at potlucks and tailgates everywhere. Imagine the flavors you know and love, reimagined in a way that only Casey’s could pull off.

Casey's New 'Pickle Wrap Pizza' is Exactly What Minnesota Needs Right Now

Alright, Minnesota, prepare your taste buds and pickle cravings because Casey’s just dropped the brand-new Pickle Wrap Pizza! And, as if they planned it just for us pickle lovers, it’s hitting the menu just in time for National Pickle Day (Nov 14).

The Pickle Wrap Pizza isn't just your average pizza with slices of pickles tossed on it, it's also smothered with Philadelphia whipped cream cheese, layered with chopped ham, smoky bacon, a blend of real mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and finally – thick-cut pickles.

It's a twist on the classic Midwest ham-and-pickle roll-up, or as we affectionately call it Minnesota Sushi, reimagined in pizza form and you can get it in original or thin crust form.

Minnesota native and Casey’s district manager Andrew Cairl is the genius behind this creation, which made it to the finals of Casey’s annual pizza competition.

He says the Pickle Wrap Pizza was designed to hit that nostalgic Midwest flavor right on the nose. “The dill pickle really shines here, and while this pizza is sure to be a hit with pickle fans, it’s unique enough to pull people out of their comfort zones,” Cairl explains.

You can grab a large Pickle Wrap Pizza for $17.99, available at select Casey’s locations across northern Iowa and Minnesota from now through December 3rd. You can order in-store, online, or through the Casey’s app – no need to wait in line for this one!
