MOORHEAD, MN (MinnesotaNow)- The body of a missing woman in Minnesota has been found.

On Saturday, July 27 at approximately 8:10 p.m., officers were called to the 3000 block of Rivershore Drive in Moorhead after a bystander reported finding a body in a tall grassy area of a public park.

38-year-old Angela Hart, who had been previously reported missing on July 26th, was identified as the deceased.

Authorities noted that the body had been there for some time. Initial observations revealed no apparent signs of trauma. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

The investigation into Angela Hart's death is active and ongoing. Law enforcement officials have not released further details at this time.

The Moorhead Police Department is working in collaboration with the Clay County Sheriff's Office, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and the Moorhead Fire Department to uncover the circumstances surrounding Hart's death.
