Chocolates made in Apple Valley, Minnesota have been voluntarily recalled because of a potential life-threatening health risk.

The FDA says the recalled chocolate bars were distributed nationwide and sold in specialty stores, grocery stores, and other retail stores from March 1, 2024 to March 29, 2024.

Limited Quantities of Minnesota's Abdallah Candies Recalled Nationwide

The FDA announced this week that Abdallah Candies of Apple Valley, MN is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of 8 oz sea salt almond alligators containing almonds not declared on the ingredients label.

There have not been any reported illnesses connected to the product, but those with severe allergies to almonds may suffer life-threatening reactions if they eat these chocolates.

The recalled products have a "Chocolate Covered Cherries" label with code 0315 on the bottom of the box.

If you have any of these chocolate alligators the FDA advises you to destroy the product or return it to the place of purchase.
