Dodge Center, MN (KROC-AM News) - Four young children were among the five people injured in a crash involving a semi-truck in Dodge County this morning.

The State Patrol says the children were in a car driven by 27-year-old Arlexxus Ellerbe of Hayfield. He was not injured, but five passengers were transported to St. Marys Hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries. They were identified as 29-year-old Geniva Alers of Austin, along with 6-year-old Alliana Ellerbe, 3-year-old Nevaeh Ellerbe, 2-year-old Janiya Ellerbe, and 8-year-old Zahmarley Ellerbe of Hayfield.

The State Patrol says the driver of the car was attempting to turn right onto eastbound Highway 14 from Dodge County Road 9 when the collision with the eastbound semi-truck occurred. The crash was reported just before 8:45 AM at the intersection about a mile east of Dodge Center.

The driver of the truck, 51-year-old David Noris of Macon Georgia, was not hurt.
